Yes. We celebrated with a trip to Iceland on our own, a small 6 person ceremony in Marianna, Florida with our parents and Matt’s grandmother, and we had a bonkers kid-created celebration.

There’s so many of you we haven’t gotten a chance to celebrate with yet, and hope over the next year we’ll get to carve more time with each of you.

Our legal names are and will continue to be Gareth Gwyn and Matt Davis. Also, sometimes we will use the shared name Davwyn because it’s funny! (Pronounced “Duh-Vwyn”).

Right now, we’ll both be based in Asheville, North Carolina, USA. We are in the process of building a house across the street from Gareth’s current home. As of next year we will live right across the street from each other in these separate, but close proximity houses. Living in different houses creates a shared vision and serves to have a wonderful balance of independence and interdependence as well as a flow of both spaciousness and intimacy in our dynamic.

Ohh! Sounds fun and daunting. Maybe!
